Abstract
In this letter, an unknown person named Ushihara tells Florence about the morning glory flowers that are blooming. Florence then thanks Lorena for her offer of books that Florence once owned and were destroyed in the air raid fires of the Second World War. She and Miss Yoshida have moved into their new home, and Florence is in charge of stoking the furnace. She will begin teaching again in April and is working on writing projects during the vacation. Finally, Florence asks Lorena questions about Whittier.
